Ryan Dick, MD, FAAFP
Hello! I’m Ryan Dick- a family medicine physician from Woodbury, Minnesota and have been practicing medicine for almost 20 years. Time flies when you are having fun! When I don’t have my white coat on, I enjoy hanging out with my wife and 3 kids. I love coaching my boys basketball and baseball teams along with camping, running, and beekeeping.
My full scope of practice allows me to care for patients of all ages: adorable newborns, spunky “three-nagers”, young adults, and those wiser individuals with perhaps a sprinkle of gray hair. I am known for my spectacular communication, a touch of dry humor from time to time, and taking as much time as it takes to serve each of my patients.
I started to write a bio about where I had gone to school and what accomplishments might be impressive. But really, I just want you to understand how much I adore my patients and love my job. I am constantly honored by the many relationships I have formed with my families throughout the years. My personal highlights as a family provider:
-Watching parents cry in joy holding their newborn baby
-Blowing up glove balloons in the exam room so a 3 year old will let me check their ears
-Sharing a fishing story about the last trip to the lake
-Giving one of my patients a big hug when they have reached their personal health goals
This is the true meaning of medicine. And I will always make sure that my clinic represents that kind of care.
