Sculptra is an injectable biostimulator that works with your body to restore collagen over time. Unlike fillers or Botox, Sculptra helps your skin rebuild its own structural support, creating gradual, natural-looking volume and improved skin quality. Sculptra is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible material that has been safely used in medicine for decades.

Sculptra does not provide instant volume. Instead, it stimulates your body’s natural collagen production to improve skin thickness, firmness, and elasticity. This creates subtle, progressive changes over the course of several months. Results appear gradually and can last up to 25 months, making Sculptra one of the longest-lasting injectable treatments available.

Sculptra is commonly used to improve cheeks and mid-face volume loss, including “GLP-1 face”, temples, jawline and lower face, smile lines, facial hollowness, and overall facial skin quality and firmness. It is not typically used for lips or under-eye hollows.

Sculptra treatments at EverWell are customized to your facial structure and goals, and are focused on natural, balanced, long-term outcomes.

Sculptra FAQs

  • Botox relaxes muscles to reduce wrinkles caused by movement, like forehead lines or crow’s feet. Sculptra works deeper by rebuilding collagen, which helps correct volume loss and skin thinning. They treat different signs of aging and are often used together.

  • Traditional fillers add volume instantly using a gel material. Sculptra works more gradually and naturally by encouraging collagen growth. The results last much longer - up to 25 months - and maintain natural facial movement.

  • Most patients need 2-4 vials total depending on facial structure, age, and goals. Some patients may need more for full-face collagen restoration. We’ll chat more about this during your consultation.

  • You may notice a temporary improvement in fullness immediately after treatment due to the fluid that we use in the injections, but this will fade within a few days. The results appear gradually over 4-12 weeks as collagen builds.

  • Once collagen is restored, results can last up to 25 months, making Sculptra one of the longest-lasting injectable treatments available.
